Born in New York City; Raised in Honolulu; Resident of Jefferson County since 1982 with his college sweetheart and wife, Jamie. When not working, Chris can often be found on the high peaks of the Central Rockies, especially in the winter. An avid skier and mountain climber, Chris has skied from most of the significant mountain tops visible on a drive from Denver to Glenwood Springs. On quieter weekends, he will tend to the garden or read to relax.
Jamie, his wife of 37 years, recently retired from a long career in accounting. She and Chris have two girls. Kendall, the elder, resides in St. Paul, MN with her husband Drew and works in the non-profit sector to provide job training to under-served communities. They have blessed us with two grandchildren that refer to Chris as “Bubba”. Allison, the younger, resides with her husband Ian in Englewood, CO and works in the health care industry. When not in the operating room, she fosters big dogs for fun. Her latest ‘love’ is Ralph. With blood-lines from Black Mouth Cur, he weighs in at 120 pounds.
